Job Summary

Superior Laundry Equipment is seeking an experienced and dependable Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial laundry equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently while providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and ensure the proper appearance and working condition of commercial laundry equipment at customer locations.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various models of commercial laundry equipment.

• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to test, identify, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.

• Read and interpret technical documentation, including mechanical, electrical, and engineering information.

• Apply knowledge of standard and metric threads, bearing sizes, and mechanical components.

• Prioritize and manage daily service calls to ensure timely and successful completion of assigned work.

• Maintain service quality, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with customers.

• Maintain and use the appropriate tools to perform service and repair tasks safely and effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Field Service Technician, Service Technician, or Maintenance Technician.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Hands-on mechanical or mechanic background.

• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Familiarity with standard and metric thread sizes, bearing sizes, and related mechanical components.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.

• Must have the necessary tools to perform service and repair work.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
