Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Auto Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain cars, trucks, and other vehicles. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with engine diagnostics, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and general automotive repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and scanners.

• Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and steering repairs.

• Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.

• Inspect vehicles to identify defects and recommend necessary repairs.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems, sensors, batteries, and starting/charging systems.

• Use automotive repair manuals, diagnostic software, and specialized tools.

• Test-drive vehicles when necessary to verify repairs.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

• Communicate repair findings and recommendations to supervisors or service advisors.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of automotive repair experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.

• Experience using automotive diagnostic scanners and repair tools.

• Ability to diagnose and repair common vehicle problems independently.

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair procedures.

• ASE certification preferred, where applicable.

• Valid driver's license, if required for the position.
