JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Define and own the AMIR multi-cloud integration architecture — AWS (primary compute/event backbone), GCP (Apigee X), SAP BTP IS, Azure (DevOps + Entra ID)

Design the AWS serverless event-driven architecture: Event Bridge bus topology, MSK (Kafka) topic design, Lambda function architecture, DynamoDB GNN Routing Table schema (4-state machine)

Own HES and MDMS cloud hosting architecture — HA/DR design, network topology, VPC configuration, multi-AZ deployment

Author Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and cloud architecture documentation; present to SoCalGas architecture review board

Govern Terraform IaC strategy across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments

Design security architecture for cloud components — IAM roles/policies, KMS encryption, VPC security groups, Private Link

Support AWS Kiro Code Generation phase — review and validate Kiro-generated CDK artifacts against architecture standards

Engage with AWS Strategic Programmes team as AWS Ambassador; leverage AWS funding/support mechanisms for AMIR

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

AWS Platinum certification required (AWS Solutions Architect Professional minimum)

AWS Ambassador programme participant strongly preferred
