Position Name: Application Programmer
Client Name: Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development (LADOTD)
Duration: 6 months 30 day(s)
Location: Baton Rouge, LA 70808 REMOTE
Visa: All visa except GC
Note: Need 4-5 years of exp with state/Federal govt
Candidate Should be from CST/EST timezone
Description:-
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
• Design, code, compile, test, debug, modify, and document new or existing applications
programs within accepted standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Identify, research, and resolve program, machine, data, or system software problems,
frequently on an individual basis in consultation with other employees and/or users.
• Review the work of programmers for assigned systems responsibility to ensure data
integrity and availability.
• Analyze changes, enhancements, and/or systems designs to ensure data integrity and
availability.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
• Two (2) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in:
o SQL Server and data integrity solutions.
o CRM systems, intake portals, and automated reporting.
o .NET full-stack, ASP.NET frameworks
o Enterprise coding best practices.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) and modern frameworks (Vue, Angular, React)
• Prior experience developing state applications or working within regulated public-sector
environments.
