Job Description
- Client: DMHC (government-type client)
- Role -Senior Data Engineer with Outsystems project experience -- “Senior Data Engineer with strong Azure, SQL, ETL pipelines, and BI experience, plus OutSystems exposure.”
- Duration: 24 months (long-term )
- Location: Remote (but must be in US)
- Rate: $70-75/hr

Degree and 3-References - is needed while submitting profile
a. A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in authoring and
monitoring data pipelines.
Eight (8) years, if substituting bachelor’s or advanced degree for
additional qualifying experience.
b. Possession of a bachelor’s or advanced degree (master’s or PhD) in
computer science, engineering, information systems, math or
technology-related field.
Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required
education on a year-for-year basis. Successful completion of a data
engineering bootcamp plus an additional year of experience may be
substituted for the degree requirement.
DESIRED Qualifications for Senior Data Engineer
a. Five (5) or more years of experience in working with data architects,
business analysts, project management teams, developers and
program/business stakeholders to develop, test, support and maintain
hybrid cloud and on-premises Business Intelligence (BI) solutions
including building, implementing and supporting data
marts/warehouses, ETLs/ELTs, data pipelines, using Microsoft Azure BI
platform.
b. Five (5) or more years of experience in architecting, designing, creating
and supporting on-premises and Azure SQL Server relational and
dimensional databases.
c. Five (5) or more years of experience in designing and creating data
warehouses and data marts in on-premises and Microsoft Azure cloud
platforms.
d. Five (5) or more years of experience in dimensional and normalized
relational data modeling.
e. Five (5) or more years of experience in development using SQL Server,
SQL, T/SQL.
f. Five (5) or more years of experience in SQL performance tuning,
analysis of execution plans, and database tuning.
g. Five (5) or more years of experience in loading data warehouses and
data marts from multiple data sources including data lakes.
h. Five (5) or more years of experience in development and maintenance
of data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using SSIS, Azure Data
Factory and Python.
i. Five (5) or more years of experience in troubleshooting issues related
with data and BI solutions in the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment.
j. Three (3) or more years of experience developing and supporting
reports and dashboards in SSRS, Power BI, and building Power BI data
models.
k. Possession of one (1) or more Microsoft Azure Data Engineering
Associate Certification.
l. Three (3) or more years of experience in documentation of code, data
models, and creating ERD and data flow diagrams.
m. Three (3) or more years of experience in loading data warehouses and data marts from OutSystems and Microsoft Power Apps/Dataverse.
n. Three (3) or more years of experience developing solutions in
ElasticSearch.
