Title: Data Dashboards / Power BI Builder- C2C
Location: Lebanon, IN (Onsite 3+ days/week)
Duration: 6–8 month contract
Interview mode: Virtual
Client: Eli Lilly - Big pharma
Responsibilities:
• Build net-new Power BI dashboards and reports for LP1 manufacturing — spanning operations, quality, compliance, and supply chain/scheduling data domains
• Localize and customize existing global/enterprise Power BI reports for LP1 site-specific needs and data sources
• Own the Power BI App Directory on the LP1 SharePoint site — maintain, curate, and expand as new reports come online
• Partner directly with cross-functional stakeholders (ops, quality, HSE, supply chain) to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business questions into actionable visuals
• Define and implement Power BI development standards for LP1 — including reusable templates, theme files, naming conventions, data model patterns, and documentation requirements to ensure consistency across all site reports
• Establish a dashboard build and release pipeline — intake process, design review checkpoints, UAT with stakeholders, and a governed promotion path from dev to production workspaces
• Design intuitive, self-service dashboard experiences that minimize ongoing D&D team support burden
• Deliver end-user training and adoption support — make sure dashboards actually get used, not just built
• Collaborate with data engineering and IT partners on data source connectivity, refresh schedules, and access governance
Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on Power BI expertise — data modeling, DAX, report design, and publishing to Power BI Service
• Experience standing up Power BI standards, templates, and governance frameworks — not just building one-off reports
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into dashboard designs — comfortable in a room with non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with manufacturing or regulated (GxP) data environments preferred
• Working knowledge of common data sources in a manufacturing context (SQL, Historian, MES/Syncade, SAP, etc.) — doesn't need to build pipelines but needs to speak the language
• Ability to train and upskill end users on Power BI consumption and light self-service reporting
• Strong documentation habits — this work needs to be handed off cleanly
• Self-directed and able to manage a backlog of competing dashboard requests across multiple site functions
