Job Title: Senior Application Security Architect

Duration: 6+ Months Contract with extension

Location: Rockville, MD or Tysons, VA or NY/NJ (Hybrid)

Rate: 70 on C2C.
Client: Finra

Visa Restriction: Except OPT, CPT

Interview Rounds – Assessment , Virtual, In – Person

Overview- can take business requirements and turn them into security requirement.  Architect experience- need they are targeting- a lot of application teams and developers, spinning up applications at a faster rate and they don’t have the resources or cycles to certify every release that a team might be producing- they are trying to formalize that process and evaluate how an application team, functionality purpose

Must haves/ day to day:

• Security architecture and threat modeling
• Wave of GenAI and initiatives coming down the pipeline
• Cloud security
• AWS
• Threat modeling

Nice to haves:

• GenAI
• LMM
• Agentic AI
• Understands this is new tech, but they need to be able to speak to it, even if from their own research

Day to day:

• Working with the Software development team
• Being able to read code
• Understand how things are deployed on the cloud
• Understanding how things work
• Understanding how AI will affect the cyber threats

Interview process:

1. 30 min zoom
2. 90 min onsite with security team
