Job Description
Job Title: Full Stack / Front End (Angular) Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Interview: Virtual, 2 Rounds
Visa: USC
Duration: 4+ months contract
Pay Rate: $80/hr on C2C
End Client: Defense Manpower Data Science (DMDC)
Note: Must have active Secret / Tier 5 Secret Security Clearance or higher.

Job Summary:
Seeking a web developer to build and launch a modern homepage for our client that will serve as a central location to showcase offered services, containerization benefits, DevSecOps tools, and runbooks/documentation. This will be modeled after leading DoD platform “front doors” like Platform One. The application will most likely be developed using Angular and hosted either in our Kubernetes (K8s) clusters or through GitLab Pages.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a UX/UI designer to who will be creating high-fidelity mockups and clickable prototypes, setting the final design for the website.
- Build and enhance the portal UI (most likely Angular) and integrate with backend APIs/services (e.g., service catalog, documentation sources, tool links).
- Contribute to GitLab CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment automation.
- Collaborate with existing teams such as Platform Engineering, Automation, and Modern solutions engineering to showcase the tool and content each team owns.
Required Qualifications
- Experience building web applications with modern frameworks; Angular experience preferred.
- Familiarity deploying apps to Kubernetes and/or using GitLab Pages as well as GitLab CICD pipelines for build/release.
- Strong understanding of API integration, authentication patterns, and production support.
