Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Vertex Tax Configuration Specialist with strong functional expertise in Vertex O Series, Vertex Accelerator+ V2.0, and SAP tax integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring tax rules, managing integrations, and supporting SAP procurement and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Vertex O Series, including standard and custom tax rules, functional setups, and reporting.
• Implement and support Vertex Accelerator+ V2.0 configurations and functionalities.
• Configure and support SAP tax procedures and related tax configurations.
• Apply tax requirements across SAP procurement and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Vertex integrations through APIs and SAP Integration Connector (SIC).
• Support tax calls and integrations within SAP Centralized Master (CM) and S/4HANA Central Invoice (CI) environments, where applicable.
• Troubleshoot tax calculation issues, integration failures, and configuration discrepancies.
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure accurate tax determination and seamless system integration.

Required Skills

• Deep functional knowledge of Vertex O Series, including standard and custom rules, configurations, setup, and reports.
• Hands-on experience with Vertex Accelerator+ V2.0.
• Strong understanding of SAP tax procedures and tax configuration.
• Experience with SAP procurement and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Expertise in Vertex integrations using APIs and SIC.
• Understanding of tax calls within CM and S/4HANA CI is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing or supporting SAP Vertex tax solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional SAP, tax, and integration teams.
