Job Description
Title :Cloud Operations / DevOps Engineer

Pay rate: $85/hour.
Duration :1 year + 11/16/2026 to 11/15/2027
Location :Herdon, VA
MUST be a US Citizen and ONLY hold US citizenship

Cloud Operations / DevOps Engineer
Required Experience
- Overall IT experience - 10+ years preferred; consider 7+ years for a highly relevant cloud operations/DevOps background
- Cloud Operations / DevOps - 7+ years preferred
- Terraform - 5+ years preferred; must have hands-on troubleshooting and remediation experience
- AWS - 5+ years supporting AWS cloud environments
- Jenkins - Hands-on CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting and operational support
- Ansible - Hands-on automation and playbook troubleshooting
- Kubernetes / AWS EKS - Production support experience
- Docker - Working knowledge and production troubleshooting exposure
- On-call - Experience supporting customer-facing production systems with defined SLAs
Must-Have Technical Skills
- Terraform: infrastructure changes, debugging, drift remediation, state awareness, and consistency across environments.
- Jenkins: diagnose, maintain, and stabilize existing pipelines; support automated OneTouch deployments.
- Ansible: automate configuration management and operational tasks; troubleshoot failed playbooks.
- AWS and AWS EKS.
- Kubernetes: deployments, pods, services, logs, health checks, and common failure patterns.
- Production monitoring and logging: Grafana, Dynatrace, or comparable observability tools.
- On-call and incident management under response-time expectations.
- CLI-based system and deployment troubleshooting.
