Primary Skills

SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM)

• Solid understanding of SSAM application architecture — mobile client, BTP Mobile Services, SAP Gateway, and SAP EAM backend
• Hands-on experience with SSAM configuration: metadata, persona setup, feature flags, and standard OOB (out-of-the-box) behavior
• Familiarity with the SSAM compatibility matrix and version lifecycle (release naming convention: YYMM)
• Understanding of offline data model and synchronization mechanism, including delta sync and conflict resolution

SAP BTP & Mobile Services

• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP): subaccount management, destinations, connectivity, and security
• Working knowledge of SAP Mobile Services: app configuration, client policies, push notifications, and usage analytics
• Familiarity with SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK) — metadata-driven architecture, rule files, and JavaScript-based extensions

SAP Backend Integration

• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA Asset Management (EAM/PM) or SAP ECC PM module processes: work orders, notifications, operations, confirmations, and functional locations
• OData service knowledge: service configuration, entity sets, navigation properties, error analysis
• SAP ABAP fundamentals: ability to read and trace ABAP code, understand BAdIs, BAPIs, and RFCs (development not required, but debugging/tracing skills are essential)
• Familiarity with SAP Gateway (transaction /IWFND/, /IWBEP/) and OData error tracing

• SAP Learning Journey: Implementing SAP Service and Asset Manager (IAM150)
